Woke up today and decided I wanted to lift heavy and then torture myself. So that is what I did.
A. Work up to heavy snatch
Took 3 shots at 230 put couldn't get it.
The snatches leading up felt really good considering I haven't snatched heavy in a while. Happy I was able to get a couple shots at 230 today but also really frustrated that I am still taking shots at 230.
B. Work up to heavy clean and jerk
Hit 245. Cleaned 265 but didn't have the confidence in my shoulder to go after it yet, so I just dropped it.
It has been even longer since I have jerked heavy, so pretty happy just getting it in and feeling good.
C.

tough combo to say the least. Wanted to go under 6 for Jackie, so I am happy with that. Went around 3:27 on the row, then unbroken on the rest. Next time I do it I think I will row under 3:20 and try to speed up the thrusters. I think 5:30ish is doable.
Just happy to survive the 2nd one, ouch.
